Urban Renewables Singapore

Urban Renewables was established to develop and invest in sustainable energy solutions for the betterment of urbanization, with the aim to provide opportunities for communities to participate and invest in the energy transition of their own cities.

The Urban Renewables model allows cities to tap into the enormous potential of using local sustainable resources, and become part of the global efforts to create sustainability in communities.

Cities play a critical role as front-runners in the transition to a carbon-free world. With approximately 4.2 billion of the world’s population living in cities at the moment, 66% of global energy consumption derives from such urban areas, where we use and waste a lot more than we could give. Urban Renewables aims to achieve high-performance green cities through high integration of renewables in the energy supply, among other things.
