Currently, there are only around 500 biogas plants in Poland, totalling 231 MW of installed capacity. However, the country is on track to have 1 GW of capacity by 2025. Approximately 1% of Poland’s electricity production comes from biogas, but the country has the potential to produce as much as 30.5 TWh.
