While the Linvasselv power plant is located in Sweden, the water comes from the 108 meter drop from the lake Limingen, which is located in Norway. Linvasselv is comprised of two Francis turbines, one of which delivers electricity to Sweden and the other to Norway. It is likely the only Scandinavian power plant that produces Guarantees of Origin issued in two different national registries. The plant was commissioned in 1962 and produces 200 GWh of electricity per year.
